An unexpected surprise. These earrings are crafted with Tundra Sapphires. The stones occur in the thin slices of alpine tundra that occur in the higher elevations of Mt. Kenya and Mt. Kilimanjaro. The stones are suspended from a string of pyrite stones and a hand made brass bead circled with Swarovski crystals. They exist in a perfect, complimentary contrast of rustic elegance.

Pyrite is a natural metallic stone. This piece needs only a gentle dusting with a soft cloth. Please do not use any polishing compounds; they will remove the antique finish on the brass and potentially scratch the glass and stones.
