Black opal: know for beautiful colors of blue, green and gray this stone has fire in the stones.  Know as play-of-color, the fire in the stones creates an opalescence that dances in the light.  The black opal is mine predominantly in Australia.  The opals of this necklace are blue, green and gray exhibit beautiful play-of-color.

 

The opals are interspersed with a handmade glass bead from an artist in Arizona.  Each bead is individually crafted completely from glass including the delicate flower pattern that overlays a deep blue bead.  The entire bead is wrapped with very fine threads of glass. 

 

The colors of the bead are echoed in the opals.  Truly and exquisite piece.

Opals are very soft and should be stored carefully. Should your necklace need cleaning please use mild soapy water and a soft cloth. Never use ultrasonic cleaners or chemical cleaners.
