Kyanite is a beautiful stone that is not common in jewelry. The stones occur naturally in shades of blue, green or black. I have selected stones ranging from a lighter blue to royal blue for the designs in this collection. The focal stones in this necklace are a striated blue, stack upon each other. and add a punctuated blue to the overall color of this necklace.
The focal glass bead is hand crafted by Barbara Becker. The blue perfectly matches the blue of the kyanite. Black Italian glass beads, also hand crafted, from the studio of SUV are contrasted with a vine motiff pewter bead. Together they punctuate the blue of the Kyanite and Becker bead.
Sometimes the components come together perfectly to construct a one-of-a-kind statement piece. This lovely piece is also a member of the Just One!collection.
